There was a side discussion in another recent thread on the difference between tracking and non-tracking consoles. I thought it was important enough to start a new thread. This recent article in PLSN is one of the better articles on the topic I've read. In the upper right corner is a button to generate a PDF to save on your computer for future reference. Good link, Gafftaper. Much of the information is expounded upon in Brad's book, The Automated Lighting Programmer's Handbook, Brad Schiller. Focal Press, 2004.
Also, here is a link to a show that is probably best programmed with tracking off, or Q-only, other than the builds. They called it "The Redneck Worlds of Winter" where I found it.
