I'm looking for several small pattern projectors. Beam distance is only about 8' and the beam field is only 24" wide (the surface of a bar). Problem is the only place to mount them is on top of a wooden ledge which is only 6" deep. I can screw them onto the ledge, but they won't be permanent.
I was considering the Altman Micro Ellipse, but even that might be too big, although I can't find specs on their website. No hurry as this isn't going in until February. Suggestions?

I found the PDF Specs on the Micro Ellipse on the first page of google after typing in Altman Micro Ellipse...next time try a search, it would probably save you a lot of time.

But the size and weight (although that's a lesser consideration) are not listed anywhere. I know a place that sells them, so I'll ask there.
Any OTHER suggestions for a gobo projector of similar size?

Len,
Since you have time, you may want to check out Irradiant's LED gobo projector. It is due to arrive in the states next month and uses a 5w SSDL. It will also sell for under $ 100.00

What about Goboman's little mini projector. It's small and cheap check it out here.

Given the quality of their stock gobos, I am loathe to use a goboman anything. But it might be worth it to have on in inventory so I can have it to show customers to against a 575w leko. Also, the goboman is still a little big. I'm wondering if the ADJ Roto thing would work. Closer to the size requirement I need.
Bill, might just order one of these, one of those, etc., and figure out which is best, since I have the time. Unfortunately, the cabbage ain't there for me either. BTW, does the Irradiant have user replaceable gobos? That would be a deal breaker for me.

A few architectural track lighting type vendors you might look into for that distance and beam spread.
