I second this. I would be interested to see how this compares to a R40 or MR16 Strip. It seems very powerful, what is the total power consumption for this device? I know sometimes the 3w can be misleading with LED's and the actual power consumption could actually be lower. So does it pull 270 watts?

EDIT: The website gives a Total Output Power of 150 watts. Also upon further reading, Only the Green LED's are 3w, the Red and Blue LED's are only 1W each.

Very cool Bill!

I always want to see what happens when you use a conventional anywhere near that drop. How badly does it wash out?

Can you tell us the ballpark street price?

Very impressive and the price is dropping all the time. Look out Color Kinetics your nasty patents may not be able to protect you from the Chinese.

Color Kinetics actually licensed their LED Patents to Neo-Neon (Irradiants Parent Company.) So basically these units are actually Color Kinetic units in a different packaging.

Drat! I've got serious issues with CK's patents and was hoping someone was going to challenge them without the patent.
