Default Gobo Projectors

The thread about the par cans & gobo's reminded me that I need a couple of fixtures designed to project gobo's very crisply. I can do it with a leko, but, that requires a nice degree of precision to get it just right.

I haven't gotten the images & text stamped yet, so any size works. I'd like to keep it under the $5K for a scene projector, but, I'm willing to spend the money to get decent fixtures (e.g. no American DJ). The things will be low use, throw distance is forty feet max. This is coming from a FOH catwalk hitting stage walls.

Are there fixtures that will do the trick for this?

Wouldn't a zoom work?

Yeah. I'm looking for somethign a bit more permanent. That sort of fixture would get repurposed without much thought.

Would MAC 250+ or MAC 500 be more what you are talking about?
