Hello from British Columbia Canada,
i found this forum while trolling for theatre safety documentation. Like other facilitys this one has long had an oral tradition of handing down training from one tech to the next. This tends to re-inforce bad techniques so i am in the process of writting a staff training manual that covers all the bases. Rather than re-inventing the wheel i am looking to borrow written material if possible. I am looking to augment material i have already started covering single purchase rigging systems, stage safety, accident procedures, administrative templates, general policys.. not to mention lights, sound and video standards. Its a big job, and covers a lot of ground... so if anyone has some documents they would like to share - or can direct me to an online resource i would be MOST appreciative! I would be happy to share what i already have too...
