sorry it took so long to respond i did not realise i had a pm until today.
I am on kodiak island TD for the KIBSD aud. i have a brother who lives in soldotna. i am a transplant from fairbanks. and it is very beautiful all year long. though i must admit i spend a lot of the winter indoors. I hope you get a chance to get out fishing when your here.

Keith from Apollo here, wondering in what part of AK you are located. (?) We spend two weeks each June in Soldotna at a kid's camp, and believe AK is truly one of the most beautiful states in the Union. (Remember- I've only been there during June...)
