Default Do I need an external video card?

    Hey gang,

I'm doing a show with 2 projected movies, both about 20 seconds long. I have a Christie LX45 going DVI into my Macbook Pro using Qlab. My computer recognizes that I have a separate display, but Qlab does not. Do I need an external video card or something to that effect? I've only used Powerpoint and Keynote to do sub/supertitle displays, and those programs are not playing nice with the video. I have Qlab 1 and 2, both with audio licenses. Would renting a video license help me out?

    Many thanks!

Renting a QLab video license would help a lot, as it's the only way you'll be able to save and re-load your video cues. Are you sure the displays aren't mirrored right now?

Does the display not appear in the video patch? You must patch in the display in the workspace preferences before you can use it.
