Hi,
I have been reading this board for about three years, and I finally decided to create an account.

Currently, I am a high school student in Massachusetts. My theater is an 80 year-old converted barn, which despite its asbestos, slowly sinking stage floor, and occasional indoor snowstorm manages to put on a decent show from time to time.

But those days are numbered.

As of today, I have a spot at Carnegie Mellon next year. While I will be enrolled in the dept of Electrical and Computer Engineering, I do intend to pursue tech at CMU, and any advice on doing so would be welcome.

Welcome to the booth! YOu might want to check out our education forum as there are many threads about going off to college. I think we also have a WIKI entry that lists where members have gone to school, so you might check that you to see if there are any members who went to CMU, they may be willing to talk to you about it. Feel free to ask any questions you have, and offer up any answers you can. Enjoy your time here!
