Default Irish Dance Lighting

Hello,
I am a volunteer with an Irish Dance company. We do in excess of 75 shows a year. I am comstructing a portable DMX wireless system to use for the shows. Does any one have an opinion on the Source Four par ?

Personally, I approve of them. But there are many more choices than with a PAR64: EA or MCM reflector? High Output or Long Life lamp? 115V or 120V? That's eight different combinations, before one even considers the five lens types, or three wattages (not including the DimmerDoubler™ lamp).

Why not post this question in the Lighting forum? There are a lot of people who spend most of their time there who may not always read the New Members Board. Also, try typing something into the Search feature. I know there have been extensive debates on the subject of Source Four PARs, as well as S4 PARNels and other things. If there's something specific you're looking for that you can't find, post it and someone will be able to help you out.

Welcome to CB!
