New Member intro - first question

Hello, I just registered. I have been researching Pc ways of control movers on a TIGHT budget for a teen preforming arts venue in Northern Calif.

I have a few years on ETC stuff, Strand 520, Hog II PC with full hardware, and one show on the hog III. I have been doing other things for a few years and am tring to catch up on this USB to DMX thing.

Is there a standard interface yet? what is the most professional PC based program out there? What is the most compatible and least expensive PC to DMX device?
