Hi, all,

Just a quick introduction. My name is Lynda Vaughn - I am the General Manager for Sew What? Inc., a manufacturer of custom theatrical drapery for the "traditional" theatre, rock 'n' roll touring, and special events markets. I am also the principal blogger at "It's all Sew Biz."

I am looking forward to learning more about other aspects of staging, since my area of expertise is focused on the soft goods side.

We love having manufacturers / vendors here, as we believe it is very beneficial for both fellow members, as well as the manufacturers to better understand their users. Your intro post here in the New Member Board is your one chance to introduce your company and publicize. After that, trying to hock your wares is greatly frowned upon. We see all members as active participants and contributors. By your statements, it seems like you are on the same page.

Do not hesitate to jump in and start posting. I look forward to reading your posts. Enjoy CB!

I've seen some things made by "Sew What?" most recently with the Dream Theatre/Zappa Plays Zappa tour.

Welcome to the booth Lynda, great to see someone like yourself around here. Not often that we get in input from someone with your expertise.
I'll have to keep you in mind for an extra option for custom soft goods.

I agree that it is great to see manufacturers and vendors of theatrical and not-so theatrical goods here on the site.
