Default It's good to meet you

Hello Everyone,

Though I know the basics of electricity, there are many simple questions I have about employing this (or any) multimeter. Normally this aspect of design has been done for me, but with the corporate "shaves" I'd better learn the basic principles of wiring and especially testing circuits already installed. I'd greatly appreciate the advice of the knowledgeable members here.

Thanks much. I look forward to your advice.

Welcome! Great name. Glad to have you here. Be sure to check out the Wiki and previous threads in the lighting forum. There are a lot of things to be learned there. If you have any specific questions that cannot be answered there, feel free to post. We will do our best to try and answer them. Do be aware that it violates our terms of usage to give how to answers on electrical projects, pyro, and rigging. We are happy to try and address things in general concepts. Our rule is if you have to ask, you should hire a professional in these situations.

Enjoy CB!

We might be able to assist you better if you tell us make/model of the meter in question, and the type of desired applications.

In general, start here: Test and Measurement - Fluke Canada, eh?
