Greetings CB types. What can I tell you ... I've worked in radio since 1987 and now freelance, I work on oral archive and audio presentation too and I work with a community theatre I think you'd call it in Norwich, Norfolk, UK. (well, theater you would call it maybe). And that's partly why I'm here. I first got involved with the Sewell Barn Theatre (
Sewell Barn Theatre Company) as an actor but with my professional background soon got interested in doing sound for productions.
Up to this point the sound was played off a CD player in the booth and I knew it could be so much better so last year I did one show for the theatre played off QLab on a trusty old G3 tower.
So now I am working on more shows this season and having to pass on what I know so far.
But because I haven't used it day in and day out there are things about QLab still driving me potty. Simple things.
I'm off now to SOUND to post a question.
Thanks for reading
Bob (aka Alfiehound ... a name borrowed from one of my dogs)
