Hello I'm Chuck, I don't have any of those lovely titles I see bandied around. I am the "head" volunteer on our AV team at my church. If the Music minister can dream it up I do my best to work it up. From sound to video to lighting I get to play with it all, although as another has said on here - "I know just enough to be dangerous" somedays.

We are planning an renovation at our church which will involve going from using our gym as a sanctuary each week with video sent to the old sanctuary now being used as overflow seating; to moving into a new 1200-1300 seat facility and all of the growing pains that will involve. So I will probably have a multitude of questions during the next 18-24 months, although I have seen many questions already being used in threads.

Welcome to CB! We are happy to help you out however we can. We have many members who have taken part in recent renovations of venues so we should have some advice to offer. Also, make sure you make a few searches around the site as we have had many discussions about renovations and how to make the most of them. After that, don't hesitate to jump into the discussions.
