Hello all. Glad to meet you.

I'm an Audio Engineer/Sound Designer/Jack-of-all-theatrical-trades based just above DC in Maryland. I've been working closely with a new, professional theater in North VA over the past six months or so (1st Stage Theatre – Tysons Corner, VA), and a desire to find out more about possible upgrades to their very basic systems has led me here.

I'm specifically looking for advice and instruction about lighting design and equipment, since this isn't an area I'm strong in (except for the basics) and it's a skill the theater definitely needs help with.

I look forward to getting into the threads and meeting some of you...
