Hello,
My name is Steve. I am a new band director and theater director. I studied music education in northern West Virginia and teach middle and high school in nearby Ohio. I have also been given charge of all the audio equipment in the building.
I have been playing music for over 10 years.
I have never done anything theater related until I took over this job in March. I managed to put on 2 short plays with my 2 theater classes. I have always found theater interesting and wanted to participate in theater in college but was unable to because of my music scheduling.
I have discovered this website a few times. Once I was looking at light board information and the other time I was looking on how to repair a torn curtain, and the last time I was looking at information about fly systems, even though my school’s stage does not have one.
