Severe weather and high winds toppled a tent in downtown St. Louis on Saturday, killing one person and injuring 100.
Authorities have identified the person killed as Alfred Goodman, 58, of Waterloo, Ill.
The St. Louis Fire Department transported 17 to the hospital from the collapse at Kilroy’s Bar. Nine of those injured remain hospitalized. At least two are still in intensive care.
A total of 100 people received medical treatment on the scene because of injuries from the beer tent collapse , but most of them were cuts and bruises, said St. Louis Deputy Fire Chief John Altmann.
