Concert promoters postponed a large outdoor concert for storm warnings. In my opinion, it appears they handled this very well and deserve praise for it. Hopefully, this will become standard procedure in the industry. The LA Times has the story

Speaking of shut downs shinedown was cancelled here due to storm warnings. It's a good thing they did to ill post pictures of that night

I was in the neighborhood in a hotel ballroom, and had no idea anything was happening. But there were tons of people covered in mud traipsing through the lobby for the rest of the evening. Pretty funny.
