| flip book is being discussed in the ControlBooth Scenery, Props, and Rigging forum; we are trying to build a giant flip book to put on stage .any ideas on how to.... |

How big is your stage? How big does the book need to be? What materials are feasible for your production? What's the budget? Does it need to move?

Are you talking the kind of book that you flip the pages very fast and get an animation of sorts? Or.... just a really large picture book?

yeah the animation flip book.

You can bind together pieces of .060 industrial ABS but it will be heavy. Use gravity and some sort of indexing catch to flip the pages. Probably too expensuive for you.
