we are trying to build a giant flip book to put on stage.any ideas on how to.
|

How big is your stage? How big does the book need to be? What materials are feasible for your production? What's the budget? Does it need to move?
Don't be afraid to share details, you'll get more answers.

yeah the animation flip book.

Flipbook is cool but you could also cut the framerate heavily of a normal video and project it onto the surface to give that blackout per frame effect.

where can i get a look at this 060 abs.would love to find 60 lb paper4x4 or larger.

Once did one with 1" Sch. 40 pipe as support for it and conduit clamps to double sided soft flat. Worked well enough in doing something that was light weight yet large like 6' square panels. Could have done larger but that is what best fit.

The .060 ABS can be bought at any of the big plastic suppliers, Modern Plastic, E & T, Ain, Curbell, etc. The 60 lb paper sounds like oak tag. I got a large roll of oak tag from Rosebrand.
