An Echo Audiofire 8 or 12 would fit the bill and are rack-mountable. Solid devices and solid drivers in my experience.

M-Audio Profire 26x26 is my current choice, it's still got 8 ins and 8 outs, but sounds fantastic. Are you running this off a computer? Give us your application and that'll help

I have the Saffire Pro40 for our space, 8 in's 8 outs. BUT it's actually 10 in's/10outs easily with our LS9. As i don'thave any other use for the LS9's 2TR in/out so I have it hooked up to the Spidif on the Saffire. If you are already familiar with the mix control on the saffire and like the way works i think your best bet as Bishopthomas mentioned "Get a second one" :-) If you are looking for a larger all in one i think the Pro40 might be a good fit. If you are looking to resell your Pro 24 ;-) Send me a Message :-)

The pro40 technically has 20/20 in out, but you can only get that with ADAT and internal type stuff. much like your 24 doesn't have connections for that many physical inputs/outputs.

Something to think about. What would you use more then 6 mono or 3 stereo outputs for. Our Saffire Pro40 mostly gets used as a 10 channel input interface with just a simple stereo out for Playback from the Free versions of Qlab/Mutliplay. If we ever upgrade our software i'm sure we could utilize more but even then 1 stereo and 6 mono channels for off stage effects seems like plenty :-) So determine what your capabilities is for how my outputs you want and what you want to use them for. Speak with a account rep at Sweetwater.com. They steered me toward the Saffire and i've been very pleased with there services and the hardware they reccommend given the requirements I had.

    [edit]
Plus side (or down side) of the Pro40 is that it is naitivly rackhardware. This is was consideration for me but sometime the smaller portable boxes like your Pro24 are what is really needed.

I'd go with a profire 2626, if i'm reading NickVon right he implies it's not rack-mount, but its natively rackmountable. I've been extremely satisfied with it, and the system intigration is perfect. Works flawlessly with Qlab and the 2x headphone outs can be routed to any signal via software returns (for example a stereo mix of all your sound effects channels, or just the primary one at the moment). Stable release drivers are rock solid, and I've never had a problem with beta drivers, but, obviously, they're not guaranteed stable.

Tk2k edited my edit, I was saying that the Pro40 (the one we have is Rackmount) but that the Pro24 the OP has is not, I made it a little clearer in my Edit. :-)
