    Default Crown Hanging Mic Repair

I have a Crown CM-30 that I went to hook up yesterday and we got nothing. I am new at this, is there a test I can preform to tell what might be wrong?
Is it best to find a Crown repair shop and send it or is it junk if it does not work and should be replaced.
    Thanks!!

The CM-30 is a condenser microphone. Condenser microphones require phantom power to operate. Is your mixer providing phantom power?
