Hi, I have a hanging mic and floor mic on seperate channels on a mackie 1402-vlz pro mixer. the mixer then goes to an amp, and then to my speakers. The problem is I can't get anything out of either mic. I have a few wireless mics on the board as well and they work fine. I have phantom power turned on, checked and replaced all the lines and connections, still nothing. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated, thanks.

Sigh, nevermind....I had the mics plugged into the 1/4" jacks, not the XLR. Apparently the 1/4"'s don't get phantom power, just XLR. I hate being a newbie.

Look at the good side, you figured it out and got it fixed. And you probably learned more than if someone had simply given you the answer.
