Default Those metal clearcom packs

I'm talking the old, indestructible metal clear-com packs

Does anyone know what lamps they take? A couple of ours have burned out call-lights. I tried the clear-com website but navigation is a nightmare.

You mean the really old RS100 series? The ones with a big(ish) red call light and a toggle switch for the talk?

I dont know myself but I know a man who might, if that is the right unit.

Yea those would be the ones. They gotta be from the 70's, they are indestructible.

Here's the manual for that belt pack.

I'm not sure what the trade designation for the lamp is, but it's a 28 volt lamp.

they may be indestructable, but they sure can damage a shinbone when they come off of your belt and fall against your leg

Well, ours do stationary duty at tech tables and in the booth.

We also have a stock of lighter PI packs for roving use.

Ok so some one beat me to it. I didnt even realise that the manual was still on the website.

I have a Korean copy of one of those on my desk and it looks like it would do someone a nasty injury if it fell on them from any height

ANY object can cause injury if it falls from height. The solution is not to let it fall.

Agreed

However I was just agreeing with Dramatechs comment.

It is heavy, bent metal construction with sharp corners and edges so I can see how it would be painful to have one hit your shin bone (or even toe) if it came of your belt.
