Well here i am 19yrs old have like 5yrs xp running sound. but now i am wanting to get out of volunteer and into a company. problem is that i have experience but none of my jobs actually have anything to do with sound. So any tips, pointer, one on one help, that anyone wants to give me

Find a local sound company that wants an intern. It will probably pay little(if anything)but it will be a great reference.

Maybe, some theater group need some help with sound. If you like theater join to group and be creative. It could be fun, but you will build some status and earn some money
