I am by no means a sound technician, i just know the basics, however i recently found in my High school an F/X console or whatever you wanna call it (see i dont know anything) and i cant figure out how to get it through my board. ive looked at the manual but it is no help. please help

Umm. Can you give us something of a hint as to what you have? For instance, if you have the manual, can you tell us the brand and model number? It's really tough to read minds over the Internet.

It may also help to know what inputs and outputs are open on your mixer and if possible, what you plan to do, or how you plan to use, the effects.

i can get the model number and manufacturor for sure. i just have to go to my theatre and get that info. i can tell you im running a DDA analog board
