Default Low lying fog options without dry ice

    Hi everyone,

I am soon working on a production of "The Nutcracker" (tis the season!) and am need in a low lying fog effect. I have been looking into some fog machines that use regular ice cubes as oppose to dry ice since it's far easier to pick up ice in the deli by the theatre as oppose to sending someone in a car downtown to pick up dry ice. Has anyone had any experience with such fog machines? More specifically, does any have any experience with the following:

-MBT "Low Rider" Ice Fog Machine

    -Antari ICE-101 ICE MACHINE

Other important details to mention. The theatre is a medium size space of about 500 seats. There is not much wing space and I need the fog machine to be a fairly quiet one.

Thanks for any and all help. And free feel to suggest other options!
