Visitor Messages on Profile Page
I've noticed Visitor Messages on some members' pages where a seemingly important question has been asked, but appears unanswered. I don't think there is currently a mechanism in place to let a member know when a message has been posted on his page. (I also don't understand the purpose of Visitor Messages and thus have disabled them for my profile.)
So my suggestions are: 1a. Everyone check your profile page to see if there's any message there that might require a response. 1b. Implement a way of sending a PM to the member when anything is posted on his page. 2. Eliminate the feature altogether.

It does show that you have one, it says "Unread mesages" but it's not too noticable. I too think it's a waste of time.
