How-To Video Library

This is an idea I've been thinking about that I've decided to suggest now that I've also suggested it over at the ETC forums for something similar. Wouldn't it be cool if we could have a video library here at CB where people could upload How-To videos that would compliment the Wiki?

Like I've got a really cool trick to getting my concert shell on-stage with my leg curtains still hung, even though they drape onto the towers unless you fold the bottoms up in a way that can't really be described with words. You've have to see a video.

How about some videos on proper operations of a counterweight rigging system, or about the different ways to fold soft goods or remove the covers of a pit filler system? If we setup the infrastructure with a list of different videos we like, maybe some of the more active and ambitious members here at CB will add videos to the CB Video Library just as we do with the Wiki.

I'm all for this. I think it is a great idea that should happen. It would be especially helpful for those of us who are still in school and are trying to expand our knowledge about technical theatre or just theatre in general.

We do have a youtube channel, more on that in the coming days as it relates to LDI. We will certainly add it to the list for the future.
