I think the Scrolling thing on the side that lists the last 10 posts on the forum is a great idea. But I think that it should be something like the last 20 posts. Because this site is now constantly growing, it is almost at the point where there are more then 10 posts per day. And since I like to read every post I can, (because this site is so cool!!!) after the last 10 posts, I find it harder to track new posts after the 10 that are listed. If it was listed as the last 20 posts or even the last 15 posts, it would make it a lot easier.

    Default tracking new posts

You can track new posts by going to the forum index and clicking on "View posts since last visit" in the top right hand corner. This will show you all of the topics you haven't read yet.

haha thats the thing though. When I visit the forums, I can see that it says "veiw posts since your last visit" so it says that my last visit IS when I'm looking at the forum page. So when I then click "view posts since last visit", it says "your search does not match the criteria". Should I just put that page as a favorite so i can view it then and there?

It just keeps track of what topics you haven't seen yet, and erases them from the "not viewed category" as soon as you see them. iIt doesn't really show you the new topics, replies, etc since the last time you logged on, just the ones you haven't seen yet.

because the page is dynamically generated, you can't save its previous state. sorry

I might like to see a preset so that when topics go to a second page that when you click on the view latest posts of that topic you don't have to also click on that next page.
It should automatically send you to the newest page of text and if you need to go back, you might hit a last page hot button.

On the main forum page you have all the different catagories listed and then the most recient post with time and date and the user name of the person who made that post in that catagorie however, I would like to see the topic name or a truncated version of the topic name above the user name on the main page so that when I click the user name to goto the topic page I know what topic I am clicking into.
