I believe the infraction "falls off" your permanent record after 10 days, unless really severe.

Yes, the infraction goes away after a specified period of time, but only the moderators and yourself can see that you got an infraction.

well i did a search for my user name on google and it found my controlbooth page and it told me that i had one infraction, and i wasn't logged into controlbooth

if it goes way im fine with that, im not saying it wasn't deserved this is about the third time i have used "condemming of the lord" phrases so it's justified

That comment sounds like it belongs on the blue-room.org.uk and there is a reason I asked them to delete my user name.

Please don't turn this into a hostile environment like the blueroom.

I have watched several forums go to someplace in a hand basket if you know what I mean.
Lightnetwork is a prime example, the switch from Delphi was the beginning of the end.
Back in high school this site got by banned by our IT guys because of some questionable language.
Only because of some connections I had did it get unblocked.
This is too good a resource to be lost by many students because of a few incidents of improper language.

1. Please enlighten us more with your knowledge of the history of the internets! Is it really not a truck?
2. Lightnetwork is a great resource, you can get quick responses to technical questions. I find it unfair that you write it off because you don't find eels funny. A mix between silliness and hard work is critical to not going crazy. While a lot of jobs you can go in be serious and have fun on your own time, tech isn't this way, its a lifestyle so you have to fit the sillyness into it.
3a. Well I guess since it was banned in your school it won't be permitted in any school.
3b. Well thank the lordy that you had "connections" in IT!
3c. So during class time is the only time you can check out CB? No-one else besides me has a computer at home, or a public library they can go to, to get online.

I am sorry this post is so snarky but the thing I hate the most are people who bring a "holier than thou" attitude to anything. For someone still in school (a community college at that!) you bring a lot of attitude with you and it really makes things hostile. If I have learned anything while doing theatre it doesn't matter how good you are, it matters how much people like you and with an attitude like that it makes it hard. How about instead of constantly going on about how professional you act, you just act that way.

I hate to look like an a-hole and call you out, but you should take some cues from other more experienced members on the board and tone it down a bit.

Why can't be all just play nice and have some fun while learning?
