New Member Welcome Package
Could we put a message in the registration or welcome email explaining that's it's customary/desirable to post a new thread in the New Member Board with a link? I don't think I saw this when I signed up, and if Gafftaper hadn't welcomed me and asked me to, I never would have found the new member area. It's tiresome to post the same message over and over when a new member posts in a non-member thread. Yes/no?

I just registered, and once I hit the activation page every page had a banner on it explaining this. Seems to work well!
