"UN-Thanks" feature?

I forget who, but someone asked if we could have an "un-thanks" button. I propose calling it "Paintball" for use on those who post endlessly, needlessly or off-topically. Those who have received a requisite number of "spots" within a specified time frame shall be given a timeout, with the duration directly proportionate to the quantity.

This idea was inspired by the comedian who recommended a solution the the road rage issue plaguing our streets. If a driver cuts you off or acts unsafe, shoot him with a paintball gun. If a car collects too many spots, the driver loses his license.

To prevent abuse of the system, a finite number of rounds shall be available to each member each day/week/month.

You come at me with a paint ball gun and of course I'll have to counter with a Patriot missle battery.
I think we do a pretty good job of pounding loose nails as it is.

I'm sure it would turn into a humorous feature very quickly. Especially for any innuendoes or sarcastic quote word rearranging jokes.
