I've disabled ads for CB Supporters for the time being. I never stated removal of ads was a benefit of being a supporter. But I promise, I will carefully consider the pro's and con's before I make any permanent decisions.

I don't mind the ads, mainly because all that I see is a bit of empty space at the top of the page - you just have to have a really good adblocker.

Just a bit of a reality check here! Check out ProSoundWeb.com | Live Sound Reinforcement, Recording Studio News, Forums & Information and then let me know if we are showing too many ads. I've been really restrictive in the past about what was shown on the site, but we are working with a new ad publisher amongst other plans as well, and need to have the ad infrastructure in place to accomplish our goals.

I would rather see ads for SHURE and ETC and Clear-Com and whatnot than unrelated google ads. (plus I bet SHURE pays a lot more for an ad than Google)

just a heads up on the crazy ad colors. The ad publisher suite is running an optimization routine to find the most effective color palettes for CB. It will take about 40 to 60 thousand impressions to get a baseline to start optimizing the ad colors.
