Me Modern Warfare 2. Should be spectacular.

Left for Dead 2. And Modern Warfare 2, my problem is that I don't have that much time to play anymore...

Okamiden: Chisaki Taiyo, only game I've ever done a fan squeal at hearing about, and Bioshock 2.

Borderlands just came out so for now I'm good. Otherwise, it's those two up there!

Borderlands looks like a game I dont understand. Does it have a storyline, or is it just another post-apoc survival game?

I WAS looking forward to Civ IV then I bought it. They ruined a perfectly good 4X games by adding "Improved" graphics. I don't need "auto Scaling" scenography in a 4X game. I want improvements in gameplay details. Grumble mumble.
I want more good RPG's with Puzzles, and maybe the occasional sword / magic play. I'm sick of FPS's and MMO's. oooh Van's in a negative mood today/

I'm not usually into the type of game that is Borderlands. It has the post-apocalyptic feel, but it does have a story line. The way the game is played is to basically go through a list of missions to find "The Vault", don't worry I'm not ruining anything for you. However, I will say that getting into the story is a little bit difficult given the number of missions that you have in the beginning, after that it gets pretty sweet. Not to mention the endless combinations of guns you can acquire.

Also, the game is described as "Frantic First Person Shooter" and that is indeed what it is. There are points in the game where you come across enemies that make you feel frantic and back you into a wall. But that just makes getting the loot and experience all the better.

This game is addictive, like Fallout 3, but not endless. It's also a good xboxlive game to play because the more people you play with the better loot and more experience you get. The in-game instructions are straight-forward and easy to follow and there are multiple aspects to the way you level your weapons, skills, and so forth. There are also little in-game mission achievements that give you extra experience, like if you kill a certain number of enemies for example. I don't know what it is about things like that but whenever I get any kind of achievement on an xbox game it makes me smile a little.

In short, I'd recommend this game. I like playing it so much that I borrow my brother's copy and my friend's xbox to play it. Heehee.

Played Borderlands last night on a friends box. Buying it today. Super fun game.
