Hello Joey, can you drop me your emailadres at lightning AT jv DOT nl? Yesterday I spend almost all day on testing the application, and resolved a lot of issues. I have a new testversion for you, that I don't want to share with everybody. I completely rewrote the MIDI engine, so the delay's are gone. I tested it with two! BCF2000 so I had 16 motorized faders. I feel pretty good about it and I'm going to use it on a live show tonight. Preset to Channels is meant as an edit function. It should bring the channelfaders up according to the preset and should also show the actual dmx-output, if you have the Master and Channel Master up. The indicators always show the actual dmxoutput. The channel fader positions show the preset you rightclicked -> 'Preset tot Channels' on. The idea is, that you can edit a setting while live in another setting. (Something like a 'Blind mode' on an conventional desk. I edited the post on howto set your BCF2000 for NRPN (in the request thread). In edit mode, you should set the 7th encoder to 'Not'. Then your remote faders moves too if you change the fader position online.
I think I understand more about the Preset to Channels. I feel once I actually have a dimmer and lights to test with (starting tomorrow!), it will be better. Sent you an email, I'll test the new version for you. I'll also test out the NRPN mode as well once you send me the new version. Been working on a show all week so haven't really had a chance to test it out much.

Your website seems to only have version 1.0.11. Seems like that is behind at the moment :P
11 and 12 are the same, except for that there is a library that is not codesigned in 11, that's why that one was rejected by the app store.

Looks great! Haven't had much time to beta test around due to work on another show , but will hopefully get back to working on it soon! Will have to download this version. Patchbay and save/load will be very useful. Let me know about the remote as well when that comes about. Would be a very useful app.
Hi there, I really like the look and the simple user interface. My only problem is that my enttec usb open dongle does not work with it. It works with other software on the mac but nothing is happening with JV Lightning dmx. Please advice, Kind regards, Halldór Örn Óskarsson
Which driver do you have? I had the same problem last weekend with my DMX USB PRO. I had the wrong drivers installed. Once I installed the right ones, it started working fine.
Hello Halldór, If you have the VCOM drivers installed that can be a problem. Lightning has drivers included and connects to the usb device on it's own. I will look into this sometime, so Lightning also works with other drivers installed. Please let me know if you figured it out or if you need extra help. Kind regards, Johan Velthuis
