I am from a small Village in Southwestern Ontario and grew up in an underground house built by my dad. We lived close to Blyth and went to see lots of shows in the Blyth Festival Theatre. In 1993 I took part in a community play about the local area with the rest of my family. That was my first exposure to the theatre. In my early teens my parents separated and I moved to Goderich where I got involved in my high school's drama program as a tech. I was responsible for making props, lighting and helping with building sets. I also volunteered at Gairbraid Theatre during that time. During this time I met a mentor named L. Michael Roberts (www.laserfx.com) who taught me a lot about the entertainment industry and educated me in how laser scanning systems work.

I went off to college in 2006 for technical theater at Cambrian College in Sudbury Ontario where I worked on a few shows our course put on. During this time we did a production of "The Real Inspector Hound', "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof", "Servant of Two Masters," and "Night Mother". Other shows I worked on was as the LD/ Op for the "Cambrian Concert Series" (Clasical Music), Stage hand on "Trying" and worked as setup crew at the Sudbury arena for the traveling show "Cats"

After I Got done school I moved closer to home to London Ontario where I ended up not finding any work- theatre or not for about 6 months. when I found a job it was not in my field (Fast food and tele surveying)

I am currently working in London at the London City Music Theatre as a LD/ board Op and other various jobs.
