is there a computer you could plug into and leave on when your gone? i know there are some really good programs that you could put a webcam feed and mics into.

because I know global truss has some good sets of square trussing that can support 600 pound and could be scrimmed. but its not cheap

Those enloop batteries, I use for a little P&S camera and they work great. I can almost be out for the day shooting HD video and they last that long. I think with a little 4 set and charger came to 10$ on boxing day 2 years ago. Its a nice little setup.
