The gel you're looking for is probably R4215. It's a blue that gives off the look of daylight outside. If you combine that with NC it looks quite realistic. This is all in relation to using two 575w fixtures.Hope it helps :)
My high school has about 64 Moving Lights. They're all Studio Spots and Colors (32 of each) and all controlled from a Whole Hog II:). Although we have such a high number, we only use 15-30 in the auditorium at a time. The rest are kept in the classroom for learning purposes.
-well we could, but that would take away a learning opportunity. We have a couple ETC's (expression 3, Expresss 48/96) and a Whole Hog II with over 60 studio spots and colors.

My favorite button on the Whole Hog II would have to be the Active button. It makes programming a snap and days a little less hectic. This can also be equated to the Focus Point on the ETC Expression.;)
The flip button takes the fixture currently selected in the programmer and 'Flips' it to the other end of its tilt/pan 'spectrum'. Think phase ø button for moving light.
