I agree that 6x6 would be expensive, but if you were going to use wood I probaly wouldn't do any narrower for the uprights. You could probaly get away with 2x6 for the cross, but then you only have 1.5" to attach anything to.

It's my understanding that Hammerdrills are more for Drilling than screwing. It makes drilling into concrete or any form of rock go a lot quicker.

I was recently talking with a sales rep, who informed me that C-Clamps and Side arms are not rated for overhead use. I can see where this comes from, but I find this hard to believe since C-Clamps have been the standard for ever.

It sounds to me that you are doing it right. Double check a couple things. Make sure you don't have a grand master that is down. I cannot remember the colors, but i think if there is a grand master that is not at full all the channels will have a box around them. If the grandmaster is good...

Reed Rigging was one of the first places that I tried, and the only thing they had for a focus track was soemthing for motors that would be way to heavy and over kill. I'll check into the Rosco thing, thanks

Hello, I'm starting my ME work on a show that is going to need a couple focus tracks. I have called around 30 rental, lighting and rigging shops and no body has any idea where to rent one. Does any one know where I can find one, or know where I can see plans to make one? Thanks
