9 to 5 the Musical Copier Effect

Has anyone done 9 to 5 the musical? How did you deal with the copier machine effect?

Can you describe the effect you're looking at?

I haven't done it but the majority of them look big enough to house a stage hand who just feeds the paper back out.

We gutted a dead copier that we got from a supply company and mounted a RC car wheels up inside of it to spit out the paper.

How did you deal with the car? Did you use a real vehicle rear end?

A toy car. There was a thread here that my search couldn't find where the effect was sheets of paper being spit out from above and covering the stage. I'm think a variable speed motor driving a shaft with a rubber sleeve, perhaps that foam insulation for hot water pipes or scrap from a dead printer.That would be on a spring arm to rest on a stack of paper. Turn on the motor and the paper comes shooting out.
