Altman Spectra CC 100 Mk2 Cyc Cells

These things have become the biggest pain in the ass. The first one in the chain was working fine. I had a custom profile made that was working, it was in DMX Stand alone mode, and was fully responsive. Sadly the rest of the chain are not.

I've readdressed all of the units to see if maybe there was a patch issue between the board and the fixtures.

I've also made sure they all had a 608 personality set.

They are all in universe 2, I made sure that was correct in the soft patch as well.

When I readdressed the first unit, which was responding to the board DMX, it stopped responding and shut off.

The manual is insanely useless.

Absolutely out of ideas on where to go from here, short of swapping dmx (Which I've used all of the cables in the house) I'm not sure where else to turn

It could be possible that you've got a bad DMX cable, or even that the DMX out/thru of your first unit could be faulty. But the real thing that raises a question is that you said it was in "DMX Stand alone mode". If they are in stand alone mode, then they are configured to not receive DMX and work as stand alone fixtures without a console.

The manual says:
STAND-ALONE MODE (does not require a control console): Note: Must be in DMX Mode (see page 6). If Master Mode (see page 10) is on, stand-alone efects from a single unit will control other units connected via DMX cable to all synchronize. Set other units to DMX channel 001. (Do not use the Stand-Alone Efects while connected to a control console or a confict may result.)

It looks like the first unit is in Master Mode and that the other fixtures are looking for signal from that first unit. Try checking the configuration of the first fixture to ensure that it isnt on stand alone or Master mode.
Good luck.

No I meant DMX mode, they were turning on in Stand Alone Mode, so I know the diodes are fine. I took it out of personality 608 (which includes the master color fade mode) and put it into 606. Unfortunately there still isn't a response.
