Building USB to DMX interface

I am trying to build a USB to DMX interface, similar to the OpenDMX of Enttec, but with plans from Open RDM. Once I got past mounting the chip, I discovered that the USB lines on my board were crossed, so I switched them. Windows now claims that the device malfunctioned and calls it an "Unknown Device" in Device Manager. I'm thinking that since Windows sees it, but calls it an unknown device, I need a driver other than the last one I found. What driver do I need to transmit DMX with this dongle?
Has anyone else done this?

I tried those drivers last night, and since it didn't work, I am now thinking that the board I made is faulty. Pads and traces are tearing off, not to mention the possibility of tiny solder bridges between pins .01" apart. So I will mount a chip on a breakout, with which I can use a breadboard and determine exactly which of the three schematics is right. Then I can retry the drivers.
