Control/Dimming Connecting GrandMA 2 to MA 3D

I just got a hold of a new computer and i am trying to connect GrandMA 2 PC software to MA 3D and nothing i am doing is allowing me to join the sessions.

Does anyone have a link to a basic tutorial on how to set this up?
