ETC Offline with visualiser

Hello,

As a small project for school I am looking to set up a system where I can essentially turn a Mac laptop into a lighting desk to control a visualiser.

I currently own X Keys, ETC EOS Offline and Capture Polar.

My ideal set up would be connecting the laptop to another 2 external monitors like you would a desk.
The laptop would also have x keys connected.

Then finding a way to connect the laptop to the visualiser which would be displayer on another monitor.


However I have no idea if this is even possible and what kit I would need to
a) make the laptop control the visualiser
and b) connect the visualiser to the laptop

* After some research I have read that the offline editor on Macs do not output anything, if this is true am I right in thinking I will therefore need to run the editor on a different laptop and then maybe use my mac for the visualiser?

Or is there a way to combat this e.g. buy a product so that I can use my mac as the editor

As of Nomad 2.2, the Mac version can output to visualizers. At least, I think it can. Not having a Mac makes it a little difficult to confirm.

I have done both visualizer and offline on the same machine.( Windows) It's hard on screen real estate without at least a 2nd monitor.

Anything better should be a snap.
