Can anuone give me the correct order for hookung up rfu to backstage input? Board on first plug in rfu?

Which RFU? Which board? In general board on first then RFU.

Definitely console on then RFU connected and on. The signal between the board and the RFU is established over a wired line, so RFU won't be hurt but won't do anything if the board isn't booted.

Aw well, the old Express/ion RFU's were "sensitive" to power up. Make sure the device is off when plugging into the port/console.

Recieved rfu today. Plugged into board....and it powers on. Lights all seem to work on rfu. Keypad another question.not sure anything is working on the numeric.

Another quirk...power off should be down but power off is up on this unit?
