So I've been borrowing some Elation Design Spots, some Martin 518 pro's, and 2 I-Cues, from a friend and playing around with Focus Pallets for them. This questions is more generic and about how the ETC Element (eos) line handles them. I each unite type in a 1 group each. I've set a number of focus Pallets but where I ran into some issues was in trying to avoid programing a pallet for one group into another pallet for a different group. In other words i would program 6 pallets. DSpros in a line across DS, CS and US each pallet being 1, 2, 3. then with the 518's being in a Group clustered C, DSR, DSL as 4, 5, 6. Except that as i'm doing the pallets and finish up Pallet 3 with the DSP, they are not captured in that positions as part of the Pallets for the 518's in 4, 5, and 6. Does that make sense. I guess the question is; Is there a way to have a focus, or any pallet only capture the parameter values from a number of selected channels or groups only? And if not any suggestions on how to keep the other groups and fixtures parameters from getting caught up other pallets. Or am I just over thinking something simple.
