Control/Dimming Generating DMX with MA onPC 1

Hi all, I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to using an MA 2port node or NSP to generate DMX with MA onPC (for MA1, version 6.8). Any suggestions?

We have an ETCnet2 system here, is there a way to tie the computer directly in to that? Or use one of those nodes? We're using the MA onPC as a backup for our actual GrandMA 1, and once the actual board is loaded we can bring up the MA onPC and have it join the session and then even if the board goes down the onPC version can keep running and controlling dimmers and fixtures, but I need to figure out how to be able to control the rig without loading the actual board first.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do this. Without a piece of MA hardware on the network, you don't have any DMX output from the computer.

If you put both console and pc in a session, and never turn off the pc or end the session, you will maintain your parameters on the PC.
This can come in handy, if you just want to open your laptop, and fix some focus issues on stage, before walking out to the booth or front of house and turning on the desk.

Of coarse this would be no way to run a show.
