Interview with Rode Microphones head designer

Very nice indeed. Thank you! Love the host (in #629) figuring that flatter mics would be more desirable, and the resulting stuff. Hey its true, the less I have to play with the EQ the better, that's why we have mics with different characteristics. This is especially true when using a console with limited EQ options.

Very interesting watch, as long as you have some electronics and audio background.

I watch this guy all the time, although the majority of the material goes over my head. I have noticed that as time goes by, I am at least more able to identify individual components when I open a piece of gear! He also has some great soldering tutorials. I used his videos to learn how to solder on a component level.

Doug Ford is great too. They have a very interesting video about a PA amp from a train, and Doug even goes in to a bit of detail about when he worked for Jands. Yes, that Jands.

I definitely recommend watching it (or at least skimming).
