Mini Fog Effect. Need ideas.

We are doing a production of McB and our director wants to have a fog effect in the "cauldron" It isn't a traditional cauldron. It is more like a old fashioned colander thing. haha. Ill reply with pics when i get them later today.

Any ideas on how to get a fog effect inside? One that is stand alone and hopefully spill resistant.(our witches are a little hyper)

How does your cauldron come on and off, is it rooted to a podium?

First thoughts: dry ice or one of those piezo ultrasonic mist/fog generators.

Dry ice in a container with a domed lid like you would get on an icee.

How deep is it? Would this work?

Ended up using dry ice, led tape, and a computer fan.

Bought the wizard stick. Not quite what I needed.

I really want to try the aquarium fogged at some point.
